A further consultation on the options for the Design Centre for Excellence will be taking place in the next few months, once consultants have been appointed.

Please, please, please give as much input as you can when the consultancy gets in touch. We need as clear a picture as possible of the practical needs of creative businesses in the local area as we can get - how much office space you could use, what facilities it would need, what you would be prepared to pay, how it would affect your profitability to have office space alongside other creatives and also what other communal resources the Design Centre might offer in terms of meeting/performance/workshop space, IT and so on. Don't be left out - and don't say we didn't ask for your opinion.
