CARLISLE AIRPORT LATEST PLANS
Last opportunity for businesses to get behind airport plans
Earlier this year Stobart’s application to develop Carlisle airport was referred to Government Office Northwest and subsequently withdrawn. Stobarts have now submitted a new planning application which involves a £19m investment to deliver an airport capable of providing commercial passenger flights, while at the same time creating a base for the Stobart Group’s Carlisle operations.
