Silhouettes are created, by placing the subject between the light source and the photographer. Use bold, distinctive subjects that are easily recognisable, for example, human shapes, statues or trees. Compose the image so that it is against a clean background, for example, a clear bright sky. Bright days will give the best results. To avoid flare in the image shield the bright sun/light source behind part of the subject. Alex Kilty Finesse Imaging, 0870 7653310
